Week 21 - 2026 Fly Fishing Report – Ladybower Fisheries

Stocking to date - 19,500

With the rod average still rising slowly as this warm weather comes and goes its been a semi tricky week with shifting wind and the hot weather but anglers have still caught.

Surface water temps are still around 18 degrees which should start to drop back down into a more comfortable temperature hopefully soon.

Anglers have had to swap flys around quite a bit this week to find what the fish are taking with a smaller daddy seeming to work better. Alot of fish are still deep around the 20ft mark boobies have been working well.

Top bank areas:
• Rasberry bay
• Pickles
• Jetty
• Underbank

Top boat areas:
• Basin - Roadside and dam wall
• Ladybower bay
• Rasberry Bay
• Underbank

Must have flies:
• Booby
• Small Daddies (black)
• Black dries
• Elk hair seadge
