Week 20 - 2026 Fly Fishing Report – Ladybower Fisheries
Stocking to date - 18,800
A slightly healthier rod average now creeping up closer to what we'd like. The fish have remained deep in the majority with anglers that have come prepared with the di7/8's getting plenty of action on short leaders and boobies.
That said dries are now catching a little most consistently. That may be that the majority of you guys visiting are sticking to them.
Daddies are the first pick with a foam body, black most popular creating a large silhouette to draw fish up to it.
I'm pleased to say the bank fishing is also improving and looking better and better. Now the water level has dropped its created plenty of accessible bank along the roadside of the main basin. With plenty of ground to cover now its well worth a trip, especially in the evenings.
Speaking of evenings... the Tuesday night boat league continues tomorrow. It's becoming increasingly popular, with its fun and friendly atmosphere.
If your thinking about joining, please contact Richard Walker (07474 281112) for all info.
We hope this week fishes great for you guys.
800 fish were stocked on the 24th this will be followed by another 1000 of our home grown fully finned bows this week. Can't say we're not pumping them in!
