Week 18 - 2026 Fly Fishing Report – Ladybower Fisheries

Stocking to date - 17,000

Its been a tricky week with the warm weather returning moving the fish around quite abit during the day and them feeding more in the cooler evenings or early morning.

Anglers still caught on the top despite the sun and warm water temps just showing you can always tempt them up. Other anglers tried the opposite fishing fast sinking line with boobys or snakes it seems the 35ft mark was the optimal depth and where some fish were sitting and produced results.

Surface water temps are still around 20 degrees which should start to drop back down into a more comfortable temperature in the coming weeks.
