Catch Report Week 10

Week 10 - 2026 Fly Fishing Report – Ladybower Fisheries

Season Total stocking to date: 10,100

Well, you've done it again! This week's rod average an incredible 9.96!

The fishing just seems to be getting better and better at the moment with an incredible days sport to be had from the boats right now.

It is very weather dependant though, fish are often feeding in the spells of better weather and dodging the cold starts of late. That said, they continue to stay high in the water. A very similar story to last week where its better to go out fishing just sub surface with a washing line or pulling a glass line in the morning and then switching up to a full floater as the day warms up

In flat calm spells fish are free rising and the dry fly sport is really kicking into action now. Warren was out guiding on Saturday and noted how the fish were super tight under the trees on the sheltered banks, picking up any fly life that were been blown off of them. Super exciting chasing those proper feeding fish with daddies being a great starting bet

Top returns

Jason Heath and James Williams set the tone for the week after they landed well over 100 fish from their 2 days on the water! Top angling

Our resident volunteers, Paul and Sue Sissons also had a cracking day out on Friday. Together they netted over 30 fish on a variety of methods. Well done guys
